2. What data we process and why


We process personal data where necessary for booking, legally required guest registration and communication with our guests: - Booking data: name, address, email, telephone number, travel dates, number of guests, payment details – for processing and managing your booking. - eVisitor registration data: name, date of birth, nationality, ID/passport number – for the legally required notification to the Croatian tourism register (eVisitor system) in accordance with Croatian immigration and tourism law. - Communication data: content of messages you send us by email, telephone or via the booking system – to answer your enquiries and assist you during your stay.


3. Legal basis


Processing is carried out on the following legal bases: - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) – for bookings and communication, - Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation) – for reporting via eVisitor.


4. Recipients of the data


Your data will only be shared with the following recipients where necessary for the stated purposes: - Smoobu GmbH, the provider of the booking software we use (data processor), - the Croatian eVisitor system of the relevant tourism and police authorities, Stripe, PayPal and SEPA, - no sharing with other third parties or for advertising purposes.


5. Data retention period


We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the contract, comply with statutory registration requirements and meet any applicable tax and commercial record-retention obligations. The data is then deleted.


6. Your Rights


You have the right to: - access to the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR), - correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), - erasure of your data unless a statutory retention obligation applies (Art. 17 GDPR), - restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), - data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), - object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR), - lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Croatian Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), www.azop.hr. 7. Data Security


We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Final Provisions The law of the Republic of Croatia applies. Mandatory consumer protection at the guest’s place of residence remains unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for businesses is the landlord’s registered office. Should any clause be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
